Day 1: Cape Town - Route 62 - Oudtshoorn
The tour start with an early pickup before setting off down through the stunning landscapes of Route 62, also known as South Africa's longest wine route. We'll stop along the way at one of the many 'padstals' or farm stalls to try out some of the local delicacies before arriving in the Klein Karoo town of Oudtshoorn.
The first highlight in this area is the Cango Caves. You'll have a chance to explore this underground wonder on either a Heritage tour or an Adventure tour. The Heritage tour is a relaxed and informative exploration of the cave system where you get to understand more about the formation of this spectacular sight without getting down and dirty, so to speak! The adventure tour is for those who are ready for a little bit of adventure and allows visitors to really get into the deeper parts of the tourist route. The tour will require you to crawl, slide on your belly (or back) and climb to get a genuine idea of what spelunking is!
The rest of the evening is spent making new friends and enjoying a 'local is lekker' dinner and you can choose to either head down into town for a restaurant meal, or take part in an optional outdoor braai.
Meals: N/A
Included Highlight: Route 62 Road trip, Cango Caves Tour
Optional: Dinner - Traditional South African Braai
Day 2: Oudtshoorn - Sedgefield
This morning you have the opportunity to walk with giants! For those who want to join a worthwhile experience, you'' have the chance to join in on a walk with three rescued elephants, in their own natural habitat. During the walk with these rescued elephants the ranges will allow you take pictures and answer as many questions you can think of about these incredible animals.
From here we make our way to Wilderness where you'll hop in a canoe and enjoy a leisurely paddle down lush, vegetation-lined river banks. The canoe trip is a fantastic way to really get to see this beautiful part of South Africa from a different perspective - the scenery and abundance of bird life is incredible!
In the afternoon we drive on to the Bloukrans Bridge where the adventure really kicks in to high gear! This is the world highest commercial bridge bungy jump, and for those brave enough, an experience of a lifetime to throw yourself off this perfectly good bridge.
If bungy jumping is not for you, then a visit to the surrounding forest by the Bungy is perhaps a bit of a more appropriate, or get an earlier transfer to their beachside accommodation to spend time at the beach..

Day 3: Sedgefield - Garden Route Region - Cape Town
This morning we head out on an open-top 4x4 game drive to see if we can spot some of Africa's wild animals in their natural environment. Look out for Rhino's, giraffe, lion, elephant, zebra and loads more as an experienced game ranger leads the tour.
At one point on your safari the game ranger will allow you to hop off the vehicle (if its safe to do so) and take a short guided bush walk for a real close up encounter with nature. This is a great way to look for some of the smaller animals, birds and plants along the way and learn a bit more about our local environment as you go.
We end the tour with a drive back towards Cape Town through the picturesque landscape of the Garden Route and Overberg to arrive back in the city by the evening.
