DAY 1: JOHANNESBURG – KOMATIPOORT, KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
After being collected around 07:00 am from your hotel / Johannesburg Airport, we bid farewell to the bustling city and head towards Kruger National Park.
This afternoon you have the option to do a Sunset Safari which usually takes place between 16:30-19:30 pm. This is a great way to spot nocturnal animals while enjoying the African sunset over the Kruger National Park.

DAY 2: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Today you will venture out on a full day of game viewing with a Kruger Park specialist guide on an open safari vehicle. A breakfast pack will be provided to take with. Don’t forget to pack your sunscreen and safari essentials (camera, binoculars, etc.)
At lunch time your guide will stop at one of the rest camps where you can enjoy a delicious meal and stretch your legs before continuing on your search for animals.
In the late afternoon, you will return to the lodge where you can enjoy leisure time before dinner.

DAY 3: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK – PONTA DO OURO
After breakfast we leave Kruger behind and enter Mozambique. After completing border formalities, we proceed to the capital city of Maputo for a brief tour of the city. We then head to the coastal village of Ponta Do Ouro - It’s time for fun and adventure!
The next few days in Ponta do Ouro are spent relaxing on white sandy beaches and taking part in the many activities on offer. One of the main highlights is scuba diving in clear tropical reefs. Your guide will assist you to make arrangements for scuba, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, or swimming with the dolphins.
Tonight, we venture to the local market for a delicious dinner experience at Mamma Alice's. This hidden gem is tucked away behind the Ponta fresh produce market, offering an authentic taste of the local cuisine.
DAY 4: PONTO DO OURO
Another spectacular day in Ponta. Take in the scenery and enjoy the many activities that are available. Your guide will assist you to make arrangements. For the less adventurous there are amazing local markets and kilometres of unspoilt beaches waiting to be explored. You can also hire a quad bike to explore some villages a little further away.
DAY 5: PONTO DO OURO – HLANE ROYAL NATIONAL PARK
After enjoying breakfast we say goodbye to the picturesque beaches of Southern Mozambique and make our way to the Kingdom of Eswatini (Swaziland). We arrive at Hlane Royal National Park in time for lunch.
This afternoon you have the option of booking a sunset game drive. This is a 2.5-hour sunset safari, which includes a complimentary drink. Hlane is home to four of the big five animals, with the buffalo being the only exception.
Please take note that Hlane has no electricity. Lighting is provided by paraffin lanterns and candles, and hot water showers are powered by gas.
DAY 6: HLANE - MLILWANE WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
This morning we will go on a truly unique experience - the very popular rhino drive, which is a 1,5-hour drive focusing on white rhinoceros. The highlight of this drive is the potential opportunity of alighting the vehicle and quietly approaching them on foot. Not all rhinoceros’s are approachable and guides have discretion. Due to the nature of this activity, minimum age is 13 years.
After breakfast we make our way the Swazi Candles Centre and Craft Market where you will be surrounded by talented crafters and artists and you can enjoy the bustling market and souvenir shops. The perfect opportunity to find a gift.
Next we visit the cultural village at Mantenga for an insight into the Swazi culture and traditions.
We check into our rooms in the late afternoon.

DAY 7: MLILWANE WILDLIFE SANCTUARY - JOHANNESBURG
This morning we will have some time to explore Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary. Filled with free-roaming animals this park offers the opportunity to do walks, mountain biking, or horseback safaris. Endless hours of guided or self-guided exploration within the small 4560 Ha sanctuary are possible due to the relative absence of dangerous game.
After exploring Mlilwane we will visit the Ngwenya Glass Factory Shop – a popular attraction for visitors.
Our tour comes to an end as we journey back to Johannesburg arriving in the late afternoon.
