Day 1: Windhoek to Etosha National Park
Our journey begins in Windhoek as we head north for Etosha National Park – Namibia’s largest Game reserve. We stop for a snack on the road before entering the park from the east. Our game drive begins immediately - have your camera handy. Our experienced guide will take us to various waterholes where the wildlife is most abundant. We can expect to see zebra, giraffe, elephants, rhino and a variety of antelope. The park has a high concentration of lions as well as other predators, and we hopefully have some memorable encounters. We arrive at our camp – Halali – and take a welcome rest after a long day. There is a fantastic floodlit waterhole where one can watch the animals coming to drink.
