Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger Bush Lodge
Departing the city of Johannesburg at 06:30 on our way to the Kruger we travel across the Highveld before descending the scenic Drakensberg escarpment to the Lowveld. Along the way enjoy a lunch in one of the picturesque towns en-route (own expense).
Arriving at the well appointed bush lodge located in the Balule section of the Greater Kruger Park area you have time to settle in to where we will be spending the following 2 nights. Animals are free to roam between Kruger and the private reserve so you can expect to get some incredible sightings on your open vehicle drives.
The bush lodge is perfectly blended into the surrounding environment and offers guests comfortable beds, en-suite bathrooms, incredible views over the surrounding wildness and a refreshing splash pool overlooking a water hole.
Meals: Dinner
Accommodation: Comfortable en-suite permanent tents at the private bush lodge
Included Highlight: Scenic drive to Kruger Park area and secluded Private Game Reserve Accommodation
Day 2: Kruger National Park Area
Rising bright and early with a light breakfast or coffee and a rusk we get ready for a fantastic day out exploring the wilderness! We head out on a morning open vehicle game drive with your qualified and experienced guide/ranger - always on the look out for whichever animals we may spot.
After an exciting morning game drive, you return to camp for a brunch and have time to relax, go for a swim or take a siesta during the heat of the day. The nearby watering hole attracts a number of animals so you have more opportunity to get some game viewing in from the comfort of your deck or the swimming pool.
In the afternoon we embark on a sunset game drive that is extended into an exciting night drive - stopping along the way to enjoy a drink 'sundowner' while taking the spectacular African sunset.
