Day 1: Johannesburg to Greater Kruger Area
Early morning pick up from your hotel or O.R Tambo Johannesburg Airport. We travel via the Lowveld taking in the spectacular scenery the landscapes have to offer. After settling in and unpacking, we head off for an exciting game drive in the private reserve of Balule, a Big 5 reserve that is connected to Kruger Park. All fences have been removed to allow for the free-roaming of animals
We continue into the evening and have an opportunity to view nocturnal animals using spotlights. A traditional braai (barbeque) is enjoyed in a boma deep in the African bush. The night is spent at a comfortable thatch lodge.
Accommodation is in fully equipped twin bedded en-suite chalets.

Day 2: Greater Kruger Area
An exciting day awaits you. We depart early morning on a game drive deep into the African bush where we will do a 3 to 4 hour bushwalk. Learn about the bush, including spoor/tracks and smaller animals. Enjoy the thrill of stalking large animals on foot. Note that the bush walk is led by an armed qualified ranger. We return to the lodge for brunch and a well-deserved rest. In the afternoon we head out on an exciting afternoon game drive.
After an incredible day in the bush we head to Katekani where you will be accommodated in permanent tents. We enjoy yet another tasty meal before falling asleep to the peaceful sounds of the African night.

Day 3: Kruger Park Game Reserve
After early morning breakfast, we jump on our game viewing vehicle and enter Kruger National Park via the Orpen Gate which is located in the central area of the Kruger. This part of the reserve is known for excellent wildlife viewing and has the highest concentration of animals in the Kruger Park. One can expect to see large herds of elephants, zebras, antelope as well as giraffes, rhinos, and predators. We take a break and enjoy lunch at one of the rest camps, before continuing our game drive. After a thrilling day of wildlife viewing, we return to your tent for a welcome rest.

Day 4: Kruger to Johannesburg
Our last day begins with a bush walk where we have a chance to learn more about fauna and flora. We are accompanied by an armed ranger as there is a good chance of encountering various animals. After breakfast we head back to Johannesburg. En route, we take a quick stop at the Blyde River Canyon to view the magnificent “Three Rondawels”. Our tour ends in the late afternoon around 6 pm.
