Day 1: Victoria Falls
Today is an arrivals day. You have the chance to explore Victoria Falls at your own leisure.
Meals: None
Optional Excursions: elephant back safari, horseback safari, walking with lions, crocodile ranch, boat cruises, golf at the Elephant Hills Resort, bungee jumping, abseiling, flights in fixed wing, micro light, ultra light aircrafts, helicopters, white water rafting, floats
Day 2: Victoria Falls
Today is spent at our own leisure experiencing the wide variety of optional excursions on offer. There are some stunning photo opportunities from the viewing points.
Meals: None

Day 3: Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park, Botswana
Today we leave Victoria Falls and cross the border into Botswana. We tour to Kasane, which is on the banks of the Chobe River. We have lunch and take some time to unwind. Later we leave for our Chobe National Park overnight mobile excursion. Chobe National Park is famous for it’s large herds of elephants. We take the time for some game viewing in the park where we will overnight.

Day 4: Chobe National Park to Livingstone (Zambia)
Today we return to our camp at Kasane and travel to the town of Livingstone. Later in the day we have the chance to see the Falls from the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, Zambia. We take a sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River.

Day 5: Livingstone to Lusaka
This morning bright and early we make our way through southern Zambia. We travel past villages and towns of Zambia.

Day 6 & 7: Lusaka to South Luangwa National Park
This amazing Park is right on the Luangwa River in East Zambia. We can expect to see giraffe, buffalo and elephants as well as hippo and crocodiles.

Included Activity: Game Drives through South Luangwa National Park in the tour vehicle
Day 8 – 10: South Luangwa to Lake Malawi beaches (Malawi)
Today we leave Zambia and head towards Malawi and the stunning Lake Malawi. We overnight first at the central lake and then for the next three days in the Northern region. We can learn about the game of bao, explore the markets or just enjoy the beautiful beaches. The lovely weather allows for swimming or do some of the various optional activities such as water sports, horseback rides or a tour to a local village or school.

Day 11: Lake Malawi to Iringa (Tanzania)
Today we depart from Malawi and cross the border of Tanzania at Songwe. As we travel we see the gorgeous Tukuya tea and banana plantations until we get to Iringa. We overnight in a lovely rustic ‘Farmhouse’ campsite where we can sample some delicious Amarula Hot Chocolates.

Day 12: Iringa to Dar es Salaam
This morning bright and early we travel to Dar es Salaam. We tour through Mikumi National Park where we can see some wildlife along the way. Our campsite for the evening is in a beautiful seaside area.

Day 13: Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar
Today we take a ferry from Dar es Salaam to ‘Spice Island’ where we will spend the following three nights.

Day 14 & 15: Zanzibar
Zanzibar has a rich culture and history. We can explore the Old Stone Town with it’s Arabic influences or take a spice tour to a spice plantation and it’s various fragrant spices. Then there is the stunning beaches or the giant tortoises of Prison Island to see too. We can go for a scuba dive, a fishing trip or take a moped to take in the beautiful scenery. Seafood is abundant and affordable in the many restaurants scattered in this abundant area.

Day 16: Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam
Today we leave Zanzibar for Dar es Salaam where we overnight.

Day 17: Dar es Salaam to Pangani
Today we rise early and leave Dar es Salaam. We make our way towards the farmlands of this breathtaking country.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 18: Pangani to Arusha
Today we have a long drive through the scenic sisal plantations and the lovely landscape to Arusha. We travel past the Pare and Usambara Mountains until we reach the town of Moshi and we see the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro for a wonderful photo opportunity. We overnight in Meserani, just outside of Arusha.

Day 19: Arusha to Karatu
Today we visit the Meserani Reptile park and Masai Cultural Museum. We explore the vibrant Arusha and galleries in the area. Later we have some lunch while taking in the view of Mount Meru and then we take 4 x4’s via the Masai town of Mtu Wa Mbu, right next to the Lake Manyara National Park and then make our way to Karatu. Tonight we overnight in a lovely campsite in Karatu

Included Activity: Serengeti & Ngorongoro Excursion
Day 20: Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park
This morning we are up early and travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation area and Ngorongoro Crater where we can see some of the best game viewing in Africa. After we explore the Crater we tour past the ‘Cradle of Mankind’ and head for the Serengeti National Park. Tonight we camp in an unfenced campsite under the stars.

Day 21: Serengeti National Park to Arusha
This morning, bright and early we take a game drive on search for the Big 5. After exploring the area we make our way to Arusha.

Day 22: Arusha to Nairobi (Kenya)
This morning we rise early and travel to the Tanzanian/Kenyan border. We then travel to Nairobi and the camp where our tour comes to an end.
