Day 1: Victoria Falls
Today is an arrivals day in the adventure town of Victoria Falls and we have a welcome meeting at 2pm. After the meeting, we visit the mighty Victoria Falls. If you do arrive early on this day, there are a multitude of exciting optional activities to take part in.

Day 2: Chobe National Park
We enjoy some delicious breakfast and pack up our camp. Our journey then takes us to the abundant Chobe National Park with its large concentration of elephant herds. The river is also home to hippo, crocodiles and a multitude of bird species. You may even see a lion, or a cheetah come down for a drink. We take a relaxing cruise on the Chobe River to spot more animals.

Day 3: Nata
We wake up bright and early and make our way to Elephant Sands. There is a natural waterhole right in front of the lodge and elephants can frequently be seen coming to drink out of the waterhole. We set up camp and take part in an informative Bush Walk with the family and our local expert guide.

Day 4: Maun
Today we pack up camp and start the long journey to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. Our campsite this evening is on the outskirts of Maun and there is WiFi available.

Day 5: Okavango Delta
Today we venture out on Mokoros (traditional dug out canoes) that are led by polers. We take to the stunning waterways, meandering through reeds and lily pads on search for the animals on the banks.

Day 6: Okavango Delta
This morning, we rise early and take part in a sunrise walk where we can see elephants on the way. We return to camp and enjoy some leisurely time for the rest of the day. We have a chance to have a swim, take a nap or enjoy another mokoro ride.

Day 7: Maun
We have some breakfast, hop on our mokoros and head back to the poling station and then return to Maun. Today we take a trip to a rural village and meet some locals to gain insight into the way of life in the Okavango Delta.

Day 8: Khama Rhino Sanctuary
Our day starts very early as we drive to Khama Rhino Sanctuary on the edge of the Kalahari Desert. We take part in a dusk game drive to watch the rhino at their most active.

Day 9: Blouberg
Today we depart from Botswana and head for South Africa. We arrive at Blouberg in the afternoon, this is where we encounter the Hanawa people, a small village community. We take a walk with a local guide and learn more about the tribe. We also visit a Lutheran village where we sample a traditional meal and try some traditional beer.

Day 10: Johannesburg
We enjoy some breakfast and make our way to Johannesburg where our family adventure comes to an end.
