Day 1: Johannesburg
Today is an arrivals day in Johannesburg. Explore the city at your own leisure. This evening we have a pre-departure meeting.
Meals: None
Day 2: Johannesburg to Nkambeni Camp
Today we leave Johannesburg and make our way to the world-famous Kruger National Park. We pass the scenic Panorama Route on our way.

Day 3: Nkambeni Camp
Today we set out to explore Kruger National Park with it’s rich wildlife. We go on search for the Big 5 on our day out. Tonight, we have a chance to do a night drive, where we can spot some nocturnal animals.

Day 4: Nkambeni Camp to Polokwane
Today as we travel to Polokwane we stop over at some of South Africa’s most scenic viewpoints. We visit the picturesque Blyde River Canyon and God’s window takes our breath away. As we reach our camp, we set up our tents and go for a swim in the pool to cool down.

Day 5: Polokwane to Musina
Our journey takes us to Zimbabwe today. As the landscapes change, we had for our camp at the Hot springs resort of Tshipise, where we can enjoy the pools, walking trails and other optional activities.

Day 6: Musina to Bulawayo
Today we reach Zimbabwe and the town of Masvingo. Here we find the ancient Zimbabwe Ruins which we explore and then we set up camp at the foot of the hills.

Day 7: Masvingo to Bulawayo
We depart from Masvingo and make our way to Bulawayo with some fascinating places to visit such as museums, galleries and arts and crafts centre.

Day 8: Bulawayo
Today we explore Matabo National Park with it’s rich concentration of Black and White Rhino. The area has various ancient San rock art that we are able to view. If we are lucky we might see a leopard, as they thrive in this area.

Day 9: Bulawayo to Hwange National Park
Today we make our way to Hwange National Park with it’s large variety of wildlife including thousands of elephants and antelope species.

Day 10: Hwange National Park
Today we enjoy some game drives through the park on search for wildlife.

Day 11: Hwange to Victoria Falls
We depart from Hwange and drive to Victoria Falls and the mighty Zambezi River. Our camp is based in the centre of this Adventure town. We are briefed on all the optional activities and in the later part of the day we have time to either visit the falls, explore the town or take a dip in the campsite swimming pool.

Day 12 & 13: Victoria Falls
The following 2 days are spent unwinding or partaking in the huge variety of optional activities on offer.

Optional Activities: Bungee Jumping, Abseiling, Flights in a Fixed wing, Micro-light, ultra-light aircraft, Helicopter, White Water Rafting and Floats
Day 14: Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park, Botswana
From the mighty Vic Falls our journey takes us to the border of Botswana. We complete the border formalities and head for the town of Kasane, based on the banks of the Chobe River. The river forms a natural border between Botswana, Namibia and Zambia. We enjoy some lunch and have some leisurely time to unwind. Later, in the afternoon we embark on our Chobe National Park Overnight Mobile Excursion, and experience in the wilds. The park is well known for it’s big elephant herds. We go on and exciting game drive through the park until we reach our campsite where we listen to the nighttime noises of this exquisite park.

Day 15: Chobe National Park to Livingstone (Zambia)
Once we are back at our camp in Kasane, we board our truck again and make our way to Livingstone. Later in the day we are able to see the mighty Vic Falls from the Zambian side and we have a chance to enjoy a sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River.

Day 16: Livingstone to Lusaka
We wake up bright and early and travel through southern Zambia, passing many rural villages and towns.

Day 17 & 18: Lusaka to South Luangwa National Park
South Luangwa and it’s exquisite beauty is based on the Luangwa River, there are many giraffe, buffalo and elephant found in the park.

Day 19 to 21: Chipata to Lake Malawi Beaches (Malawi)
We leave Zambia and make our way to Malawi. There are many optional activities on offer or we can choose to just relax on the pristine beaches.

Optional Activities: Zambezi Sunset River Boat Cruise
Day 22: Lake Malawi to Iringa (Tanzania)
We depart from Malawi and enter Tanzania. We then drive past stunning Tukuyu tea and banana plantations. Our campsite this evening in a lovely rustic Farmhouse famous for it’s Amarula Hot Chocolates and steamy showers.

Day 23: Iringa to Dar es Salaam
This morning we rise early and travel to Dar es Salaam, passing though Mikumi National Park where we may see some wildlife on the way. Once we reach Dar es Salaam, we head for our charming coastal campsite and make preparations for our Zanzibar Excursion.

Day 24: Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar
We hop on a ferry from Dar es Salaam, which takes us to “Spice Island” where we stay the following 3 nights.

Day 25 & 26: Zanzibar
Zanzibar is steeped in history and culture. Once visiting Stone Town, we can see the strong Arabic influence. This island is renowned for it’s spices and there is a chance to visit a spice plantation/ We can also visit some of the gorgeous beaches, giant tortoises of Prison Island, enjoy scuba diving, a fishing trip in a traditional Dhow or hire a moped to explore the area. A variety of restaurants lay scattered in the area where we can sample some of the fresh, delicious seafood available. It’s inexpensive and plentiful.

Day 27: Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam
We leave Zanzibar this afternoon and make our way to Dar es Salaam again. We reach our camp in the late afternoon/early evening.

Day 28: Dar es Salaam to Pangani
Today is a travelling day to reach the amazing Serengeti.

Day 29: Pangani to Arusha
Today our drive takes us past sisal plantations and the African bush to Arusha. As we drive we may see Mount Kilimanjaro with it’s snowy summit. Our camp is in Meserani tonight on the outskirts of Arusha.

Day 30: Arusha to Karatu
We visit the Meserani Reptile Park and Masai Cultural Museum this morning. We can visit an art gallery or explore the town of Arusha. We enjoy some delicious lunch as we see Mount meru and then hop onto 4x4 vehicles for an exciting game drive.

Day 31: Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater & Serengeti National Park
This morning bright and early, we embark to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. This is where some of the best game viewing in Africa is found. Tonight our camp is surrounded by African noises, in the middle of nature.

Day 32: Serengeti National Park to Arusha
We head out this morning on another exciting game drive on search for the Big 5.

Day 33: Arusha to Nairobi (Kenya)
This morning we cross the border into Kenya and travel to Nairobi, where I tour comes to an end.
